Dear MRFC Community,
MRFC wants to announce that Sam Gates will be moving away from his daily involvement with the soccer club to take up a new position helping build and promote the Mt. Rainier Athletic Club (MRAC). With the launch of flag football, MRAC serves as the figurehead for multi-sport offerings and services within our community. We wish to express our gratitude to Sam for his years of dedicated service and hard work for the community and the game of soccer.
Moving forward, MRFC will see Marc Russell take on the role of Executive Director, with Luke Howells as our new Club Director of Coaching, supported by program leaders Jill Green, Justin Burgher, James Long, Tyler Williams, and Mike Avery.
Jamie Giger and Doug Clevenger will also be transitioning to MRAC to head up MRAC Operations.
This transition marks an exciting chapter for our club, and we look forward to working collaboratively as we continue providing soccer opportunities to our community.
