We have some exciting news to share!
Steven Gray Basketball is partnering with Mount Rainier Athletic Club (MRAC). Steven Gray Basketball will now function as Steven Gray Basketball Powered by MRAC.
MRAC began as a soccer club — Mount Rainier Football Club (MRFC) — and has grown into a strong and well-established athletic organization. Partnering with MRAC allows SGB to grow basketball within a larger, well-supported program while continuing to develop athletes the way Steven always has.
To start, things will look exactly the same. We will continue offering:
Camps led by Steven
Clinics led by Steven
Private training led by Steven
Group training led by Steven
And our SGB 5th Grade Girls Team led by Steven
Over time, the goal is to grow into a full basketball program offering opportunities from recreation-level play all the way to competitive and elite AAU teams, creating space for athletes of all levels — similar to the model MRFC has built — while maintaining the same development philosophy that SGB is built on.
Steven will still be running trainings, coaching athletes, and leading the program just like he always has. The athletes, coaching approach, and the constraints-led training environment families know will remain the same.
As part of this partnership, Steven will serve as the ExecutiveDirector of Basketball Operations for MRAC, helping lead and grow the basketball program within the organization.
Any training packages that have already been purchased — including Feeder Training Packages and Valley Training Packages — will remain exactly the same and will continue to be honored. Nothing about those purchases will change.
Training costs will also remain the same through 2026.
